I can’t even say how delicious the kitchen smelled while these were baking! A delicious healthy way to start the day, they were firm outside and a bit sqidgy in the middle (I like a bit of squidginess!)
Ingredients:
•1 ripe banana
•80 gr oats
•1 dash dark agave syrup
•2 tsp cacao powder
•dessicated coconut for sprinkling
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Blend the oats until medium coarse. Break the banana in pieces and add to the blender, pulse and add the cacao and agave, then blend briefly until the mixture is uniform(ish). I think the key here is to not overmix the ingredients.
On greasproof paper, add a scoop of the mixture until you run out; I had about six small bites out of these amounts. Sprinkle some dessicated coconut on top of the bites and place in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, until firm. Let cool.
